The marigold is a very flowering plant of the daisy family. With her bright orange-red, about three weeks holding flower heads she enchants every flowerbed.

Depending on when you sowed the light germ, the flowering period starts in mid-May to mid-June. Commercially available plants are already supplied with buds that continue to open up. If the marigold is properly cared for and regularly brushed, it continues to drive new flowers until autumn.
Tips
Depending on which types of tea you have planted in the garden, the pretty flowers are even edible. They taste pleasant to licorice, oranges or lemons and are therefore an exotic enrichment for salads and desserts.
