It's not pathogens that mess with your windowpane. This is true at least for yellow leaves, because this damage pattern results from negligence in the care. The most common causes of the problem with hints for the solution, we have put together here for you:

When brown stains appear on your window-leaf with a bright halo that spread and cover the entire leaf, you are often dealing with eye-spot disease. This is triggered by the fungal pathogen Spilocaea oleagina. Please cut off immediately all infected leaves and dispose of them in the dustbin.

In order for the window leaf to be better able to defend against the pathogens, strengthen the body's defenses with liverwort extract or horsetail mud.
