The right soil for mimosa
The mimosa copes well with a simple garden soil based on compost. You may also like to loosen the substrate with some lava stone or coconut fibers.
The earth must be permeable to water, so that the irrigation water can not accumulate.
To ensure nutrient supply, fertilize the mimosa at two-week or monthly intervals. In young plants, however, fertilizer is not necessary, but rather harmful.
Tips
Mimosa does not often suffer from illness. Only waterlogging is a big problem. So put a drain in the bottom of the pot so that the roots do not stand directly in the water.
