Which location would a Ficus Benjamini want?
In order for a Ficus benjamina to develop magnificently in living and working spaces, the location wants to be chosen with care. In its tropical distribution areas, the birch fig grows as a forest and glade tree, which requires a special combination of temperature and light conditions. Since a birch fig loses its leaves after repeated relocation, please look for a place with these conditions:
Green-leaved Benjamini varieties also show their green side in the light shade. In the full sun they suffer a fatal sunburn. In contrast, colorful-leafed hybrids form the decorative coloring of their leaves in the sunny spot perfectly, as long as they are protected from the blazing summer sun at lunchtime.

The birch fig is at its best when it can enjoy the unfiltered sunlight and fresh air on the balcony between May and September. Clear your Benjamini, of course, only when the night temperatures are no longer below the 16-degree mark. In order for the summer resort to start smoothly, a ficus benjamina should first acclimatize for 8 to 10 days in a shady place.
