How are peas to be fertilized appropriately?
As a feebler, peas make fairly modest demands on nutrient supply. This aspect is very suitable for health-conscious hobby gardeners, because they can do without mineral fertilizer. Such preparations affect the flavor of vegetables anyway.
It promotes the growth and taste of the peas when you garden compost every 14 days until harvest. Add a little bit of primary rock flour, thus favoring the microorganisms in the surrounding soil and thus the resistance of your plants.
The administration of nitrogen-stressed organic fertilizer, such as horn shavings or nettles, should be avoided in pea culture. Nitrogen leaves the leaves thrive, which, however, at the expense of pod growth.
